2025.11, FHNW Muttenz – Reclaim (Domesticity), Muttenz, CH
"Reclaim Space, finding space where there is none.
Materiality Matters, the choice of materials doesn’t close the process, it starts it.
In Heritage on the Alps, where every design choice depends on the degree of transformation the context allows."

“One of the things that brings us the most joy in life is color. Pure color, regardless of the object or material it adorns, and its juxtaposition—whether intentional or accidental, harmonious or clashing—with other colors, which instantly creates a unique visual universe to immerse ourselves in.”

2024.09, THESIS – Window as a place, Milan, IT
"Among the elements of a room, the most wonderful is the window. The great American poet W. Stevens teased the architect: 'What slice of sun does your house have?' Paraphrasing: what slice of sun enters your room? What range of modulations does the light offer, from morning to evening, from day to day, from season to season, throughout the year?"

Louis Kahn

2024.07, THESIS – Materiality matters, Milan, IT
“The matter renounces being part of Nature to play new roles in the human comedy. Fleeing from its domain, which is a continuous and generative becoming, a part of Physis remains paralyzed, freezing into a sort of still image.”

Fernando Espuelas

2023.01, ATOMAA presents at Platform Best Italian Future Living Design Selection, Milan, IT
“I have been saying for years that a parallel, almost private history of Italian architecture could be written just by using its interior designs, and it would be an exciting tale capable of recounting generations of young designers, excellent craftsmen, dedicated companies and courageous clients. It would be a true insight into the history of our country through its domestic interiors!”

2023.01, Home for Readers in Best Italian Future Living Design Selection, Milan, IT
The project, while not upsetting the original layout of the house, gives the new owners flexible spaces, brightness, wide fields of view and a succession of varied environments that are always in communication with each other.

2022.09, Brera Apartment featured in book by Never Too Small, Melbourne, AUS
“The notion of flexibility is a standout of this design. Brera shape shifts frequently over the course of the day. A guest turning up in the morning, afternoon or evening would see a different configuration each time. A small-footprint residence doesn't have the luxury of moving to various rooms to accomplish their daily activities. Instead, they must transform their space to accommodate their lifestyle”

“No innovation abandons reason.
There is no innovation.
There is a rediscovery of innocence, a conquest of the state of Grace, so that the memory is not lost.”

Alvaro Siza, writing about the work of Luis Barragán, 1994

2020.11, A Home for Readers in Elle Decor, Milan, IT
“A home for readers? Yes, in Milan. It was designed by Studio Atomaa in 2019. Between the living room and the access to the other rooms of the apartment, books prevail and breathe instinctively with refined, elegant and lively interior design (thanks to the design of the doors). From cinematography to design, from literature to music, the architectural project was tailor-made: between the needs and desires of the couple who live in this slice of the Milanese heart."
