“I live on Earth at the present, and I don’t know what I am. I know that I am not a category. I am not a thing – a noun. I seem to be a verb (…) “
– R. Buckminster Fuller
Designing Milietta, we intentionally distilled the elements down to two fundamental actions: “Hang” and “Support”. With the desire to minimize attention drawn to the object, we pay homage to old photographs, birthday postcards, and candid passage of time.
“Mi sono sempre immaginato il paradiso come una specie di biblioteca. (libreria)”
– Jorge Luis Borges
Angiolina was born out of a love for simple and essential geometric lines, a principle echoed throughout the collection. Its design, inspired by a single cylindrical element, is characterized by delicate curves and soft lines.
“Saran belli gli occhi neri
Saran belli gli occhi blu
Ma le gambe, ma le gambe
A me piacciono di più”
– Trio Lescano & Enzo Aita
Attilio is a table with a simple and kaledeiscopic design. Its top, round and thin, reveals the nature of the material it is made of. The thousand legs, those same design elements that give shape to Milietta and Angiolina, provide it with ground.
The first-ever limited edition drop of Milietta is coming soon!
